Between shows while staying in midtown Manhattan, 2 blocks from 30 Rock, I boinged these guys out. Old people eating carbs is not a personal reflection on Mudhoney, one of my favourite bands of all timey.

Akai Tape Echo

Went to Chuck Frank's garage sale and bought a whole armload of doodads. An old Sansui, Marantz amp and this Akai reel-to-reel. This thing might just suck as a reel-to-reel but recording with the sound on sound function it makes a totally surreal saturated tape echo...

I'm going to try to post some samples here but it was a pretty cool scooore for $10.
